WELCOME TO ✨️SHORT STORY DAY✨️

Image
Hi lovelies! This is a new monthly segment on the page where I post a NEW short story every third Friday of the month! Hooray!! Please enjoy... MORGAN’S MEOW CW: animal d3ath, ghosts (IT HAS A POSITIVE ENDING, I PROMISE) . . . . . Morgan had been dead for one hundred years and never liked the tenants in her house. Then, one day, they brought home a small, black cat. The cat stopped at the foot of the stairs, sat down, and meowed right at Morgan. Morgan’s eyes widened when it walked towards her and looked directly at her. “Can you see me?” she asked. The cat meowed again. Morgan had never had a pet, and she didn’t consider this one hers. However, the more the cat unsuccessfully tried to rub against her leg, or climb onto her lap, the more Morgan grew fond of the cat. In fact, she liked the cat so much, she stopped trying to chase away the tenants. One day, the man left the front door open. The cat got out. Morgan could only watch in horror as the cat ran across the street, o...

✨️❗️NEW WRITING EXCERPT❗️✨️

Hi lovelies! My apologies for not posting this last night, but here's a sneak peek of a flash fiction piece I'm writing! Enjoy 🥰 . . . . . Father Marcus screamed when the vision appeared before him, stumbling back over a few pews as he tried to clamor away from the creature that had appeared before him. “Be not afraid,” the many voices of the incomprehensible mass of energy spoke, and Father Marcus screamed again. That was ten years ago today. At that moment, Father Marcus was half-heartedly listening to some trivial confessions as the seconds ticked by in slow motion. He’d heard a million apologies about broken promises, disobeying direct orders from parents and authority, taking the Lord’s name in vain, it went on and on. The confession about leaving a shit in the toilet at the mall almost made him keel over, but he’d managed to hold it together. When the regular parishioners were gone, Father Marcus sighed, then locked the big doors leading into the holy sanctum of St. Anth...

Storytime Blog Hop October 2025 - Black Dog

Hello, and welcome to my fourth blog hop contribution! Thanks for reading if you do <3 ----- Oscar’s life was categorized by his million-dollar home, his fast car, and his beautiful wife and children. Doors flung themselves open to him, revealing lucrative opportunities, and Oscar quickly climbed the ranks. But when Oscar’s boss was caught embezzling millions, the company went bankrupt, and Oscar was left behind. In a matter of months, everything was gone. Oscar was left in a small, grungy apartment on the edge of town, with no job, no money, and no future. When Oscar walked into the woods that day, he didn’t intend to come out. He’d brought the rope, now to find sturdy tree. Instead, Oscar found a black dog, one who looked eerily like his childhood companion, sitting under the sturdiest tree. Before he could say anything, the dog was facing him, eyes piercing red. Oscar was suddenly scared. The dog stared at him for a moment before it growled, lips peeled back in a m...

Excerpt from THE TOWER

Hi folks! I'll be submitting a short story I have named The Tower to my writing group's Halloween anthology very soon! It is a paranormal fantasy novella at ~10k words. While I get the story ready for publication in October, I wanted to share an excerpt from the story to see what you all think! Let me know in the comments of wherever you're reading this <3 CW: talk of demons, talk of angels, ghosts, the supernatural, paranormal phenomena, the occult . . . . . The next morning, I woke up knowing I needed answers. I immediately hoisted my laptop from my desk next to the bed to my lap and started reading over that article about repeated tarot cards again. Most of the information was garbage, just blurbs about deeper meanings, shadow work, and higher beings sending messages. But it was that last part that caught my attention. I clicked on the post, which apparently had been buried pretty close to the bottom of the page, and read on. According to author XoXoGhostie , repeat...

Storytime Blog Hop July 2025 - Contract

Hello, and welcome to my third blog hop contribution! Thanks for reading if you do <3 ----- “Remember, twenty years. Twenty years, and I come and collect my dues.” With that, the crossroads demon was gone, leaving Diana alone on the dusty, country road she’d stumbled onto. It seemed so much like a dream that she ended up writing the whole thing off.   Twenty years later, Diana Rothbert was a household name. Her image flew on banners, was stuck to the sides of buildings, was featured across commercials on skincare to military spending. She was on her way to the presidency. But when the demon showed up, Diana wanted to buy herself more time. “What if…what if I could promise you something?” she asked. The demon was intrigued. “What could you possibly promise me?” Diana thought hard. “Let me win the presidency. I can promise you as many souls as you’d ever want.” The demon laughed. “With your platform?” Diana winced. Despite her deal with the devil, her platform...
